Our Story
Hilliard Veterinary Hospital was established in 1958, making us the oldest operational small animal hospital in Hilliard, Ohio. What began as a cornerstone of the local community has grown into a full-service veterinary hospital equipped with modern technology and a team deeply rooted in the values that have always defined us—compassion, excellence, and genuine care for every patient we see.
Today, the hospital is led by Dr. Zoltan Djelmis and a dedicated team of veterinary professionals who carry on that legacy with pride. Serving Hilliard and the greater Columbus metropolitan area, we’ve built lasting relationships with generations of pet-owning families—and we’ll always have room to create more.

In Loving Memory of Ace 2005-2022
Ace found his way to us after being abandoned at another veterinary practice in the fall of 2005. He was a good cat, and an even better greeter! With him at the door, every client and pet could count on finding a friendly face at our hospital as soon as they arrived.
Our dear Ace crossed the rainbow bridge in 2022, deeply loved and greatly missed. In his honor, a memorial stands in our lobby.
